At The Brink is a song about my own personal experiences with being grateful for some of the privileges that myself/alot of people I know have experienced in our lives in general as well as also acknowledging those who aren't as fortunate/privileged as us in our positions (as not everyone is able to easily enjoy and do the things they love the most)

It is also about coming to terms with the fact that you can't expect anything to happen or fall into your laps without taking the necessary actions or speaking up/using your voice (hence the last line of the song 'if Silence is Golden I want to be the poorest man alive')
