about

The Precursor is a song about straying from particular paths that have set in stone to create and follow your own path in life. Although this path may have it extreme ups and downs, in the end its your own path that will be define you and potentially determine your own destiny.

lyrics

I don’t want to live to see the day when I turn my back on everything,
I’m too scared to move ahead because I don’t know what the future will bring,
Just to wake in darkness and watch aspiration’s extinction,
Because everyday’s exactly the same and I cannot distinguish distinction,

Is it all thriving nightmares? Or blooming paradise?
I am simply always let down by fictional suffice.

Is this pure precursory?
Or the errands of ill fate?
The attraction of misery never came so late,

The weight and pressures of this world can always be heighted,
When I try to close my mind of this identity crisis,
From the beginning to the end persist just to contemplate,
I just want to escape, I just want to escape.

But life goes on and on and on and on and on,
On and on and on and on and on,
On and on and on and on and on,
On and on, but I’m still just here.

Life goes on still I harbour dormant blues,
It’s getting harder to find things to look forward too.
